Information About GADSL (Global Automotive Declarable Substance List)

The global automotive declarable substance list (GADSL) is a list including possible harmful substances and defining those by limited values. GADSL covers declaration of certain information about substance related to parts materials supplied by the supply chain to automotive manufacturer.

GADSL was created by automotive manufacturers, automotive part supplier (tier supplier) and chemical/plastic industries who have organized Global Automotive Stakeholders Group (GASG). The purpose of GAGS is to enable communication and exchange of information regarding the use of certain substances in automotive products throughout the supply chain. GAGS organization consist of three regions Americas, Europe/Africa/Middle East, and Asia/Pacific.
