1980

Elastron was founded in Istanbul under the name “Solvent Üretim” to produce PVC and TPE compounds.

1985

Elastron became the leading supplier of shoe sole manufacturers.

1996

Elastron selected as one of the top 5 SEBS  licensed Producer in Europe

1996

Production of SEBS-based TPE products began.

1998

The factory was relocated from Istanbul to the Gebze campus, where production capacity was increased, and a state-of-the-art automation system was implemented.

1998

The production of EPDM/PP-based TPV began.

2000

Exports to several European countries, primarily Russia, began.

2003

We have successfully obtained ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification.

2004

Solvent Üretim rebranded as Elastron

2007

A Quality Management System Certificate, IATF 16949:2016, has been obtained.

2007

Elastron’s Logo and Brand Guideline has changed

2010

An office opened in the Asia-Pacific region.

2011

ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System certificate obtained.

2012

The first export to the U.S. market began, and an office opened in Michigan.

2013

An Office opened in Germany.

2018

A new production facility was opened in Atlanta.

2019

An Office opened in Japan.

2020

The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certificate was also obtained for the factory in Atlanta.

2021

The ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Certificate (OHSAS:18001 since 2018) was obtained for the Elastron Türkiye factory.
