About the fair

INTERPLASTICA - the most important trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry in Russia and neighbouring countries - will be opening its doors again at Moscow's Krasnya Presnya trade fair centre on 25 - 28 January 2011.

The industry has taken an optimistic view of the future again after overcoming the worldwide economic and financial crisis, already showing an upbeat atmosphere at the previous year's event. The highly successful course of the leading K 2010 trade fair in autumn 2010 confirmed the upward trend in the plastics and rubber industry, benefitting regional specialist trade fairs such as INTERPLASTICA 2011.

We are all facing global challenges, and climate change and limited resources will bring about a lot of change in the next few decades alone. The plastics and rubber industry's new products promise new answers to the challenges of the future, and the versatility of plastics and rubber - including their recycling properties - gives grounds for optimism as we look into the future.

Efficient, sustainable use of plastics and rubber requires innovative technology, and Russia still has too few industrial plants to fill the bill. The sales prospects for state-of-the-art technology on the Russian market are still good.
